Barbara Lucas is a volunteer for the project. She joined WEMU's David Fair to explain what it is, why it is so ecologically valuable and why this is likely just the start of a much bigger local environmental movement.

Buhr park is wonderful. I often come here to play tennis or workout with A2 Turbos, part of a meetup.com group I am involved in. The park also has a swimming pool for use.I have yet to try it out, but the reviews on it seems to be good. Overall, this is the place to be in the summer, especially for the Farmers Market on Tuesdays.
