Over time, they were moved indoors for health and safety reasons, leading to the establishment of hawker centers that have become community dining rooms, where people from all walks of life gather to enjoy an inexpensive and tasty meal.

 
That said, however, there is one hawker centre which stands out from the rest, being one of the oldest out there. No need to look up the A-to-Z list of hawker centres in Singapore, because I’m talking about ABC Brickworks Market & Food Centre.
